A personal note from the CEO/Founder:
On January 7, 2023, Ms. Sandra H. Stone hired me as her private caregiver, both in the comfort of her home and at the nursing home, which is where she decided to go due to concerns of continual self-pay. I was not a huge fan of her decision, but completely understood. Prior to relocating to the nursing home, Ms. Stone asked me, “Do you promise to remain my private caregiver?” Of course, I was honored and replied, “I promise.”
On February 9, 2023, Ms. Stone was transported to TimberRidge Nursing and Rehabilitation, and I was able to experience every moment during her transition. During her stay, I continued to care for her Monday through Friday of each week. I did everything with the exception of physically administering her medications. Although our time together was short-spent, she and I developed an immediate bond from the time she became my client. Ms. Stone would often say to me and others, “God sent you as my angel.” She would always remind me that I provided excellent care; she could depend on me; trust me with all of her personal matters; and wouldn’t trade me for anyone/anything. Anytime Ms. Stone received phone calls or people approached her (including family, friends, and nurses) she would say, “Talk to my private caregiver, Sheila.”
On Saturday, March 4, 2023, Ms. Stone passed away. It was difficult; however, I was blessed to have spent with her the last eleven (11) hours of her life here on earth. She was my motivation of why I started Earths Loving Angels Home Health Care, LLC as I was able to witness why I would encourage every family to allow their loved-one to receive care in the comfort of their own home.
